Shalach Manot – 2018

Rodef Sholom Temple Sisterhood
Shalach Manot Project Purim-digit-nosisterhood

WHAT IS IT?
Shalach Manot is the tradition of exchanging gifts of food at Purim. This mitzvah is one of the many ways that we, as a people, emphasize the importance of community.

It is also a way to add warmth and friendship to our synagogue. This year RST Sisterhood will be preparing Shalach Manot gifts as a fundraiser and to help more members fulfill this mitzvah.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
1) You can send a Shalach Manot gift to any member of the congregation. Only 1 bag will be given to each recipient. The names of all of those who sent them a gift will appear on the card.

2) Check off the names of those members to whom you wish to send a Shalach Manot gift.

3) Fill out the form and send in your check made payable to RST Sisterhood and mail to the RST Office or online below by Feb. 14th. All orders must be accompanied by full payment to be processed.

HOW CAN I HELP?
1) Click Here to Volunteer to assemble bags on Sunday, February 25th at the UJC from 1-3 PM.

2) Click Here to Volunteer to make phone calls week of March 5 to alert members that they have a Shalach Manot bag waiting for them.
